Skeleton Key

In the darkness of night
I realized what is right
That you’re the skeleton key
& you do haunt me
But suddenly you took to flee
Without reasons you left me
Lost I am in the height
Seeking the spirit of night
Though I have no right
To touch the queen in white
& I begged for a chance
Though you don’t let me once
Once, twice, & thrice I tried
All hellish pains I hide
It is better if I died
Letting my angels be your guide
Into my coffin I crept
& all sorrows in my heart I kept
Sleeping there in killing silence
Not feeling but the abhorrence
Slipping so deep inside
Uncovering all what I hide
Then I lost my essence
& became no one hence
